Brianne Welch

BCH Sports Reporter

Brianne Welch started playing sports when she was six years old, soccer first then softball. She started getting into college football at the age of eight or nine, and from that moment on she knew that she wanted to be in the sports industry in some form or another. She loves playing games, being outside and being athletic because that has been a part of her entire life. Brianne went to high school in Canton, Ga and is a die hard Georgia Bulldog football fan because both of her parents went to UGA. Brianne played Division I softball at Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN where she graduated in May 2015 with a degree in Journalism and New Media with a minor in Management. While in College, she interned at WKRN News 2 Nashville where she helped with coverage of the Tennessee Titans as well as college sports around Nashville. Brianne began work at the beginning of basketball season as a weekend sports reporter for KTAB/KRBC, and is excited to live in and experience the Big Country covering local sports.
