Abilene Compassionate Friends a support group for parents, grandparents and siblings who have experienced the death of a child of any age will walk the trail at Nelson park carrying the names of our children. You need not walk alone is our Motto and remembering our children gone too soon is an important event for compassionate friends worldwide. Please join us as we celebrate the lives of our children.
The Hendrick Autism Support Group will focus on “Potty Training your Child with Special Needs” on July 17 from 6 - 8:30 p.m. in the Hendrick Center for Rehabilitation’s Community Room, 1934 Hickory St.
The class will cover topics including how to know if your child is ready for potty training, when to start and strategies for success.
Through the exchange of stories and advice, the support group provides encouragement to parents.
