The Brownwood ISD school board unanimously approved a contract Tuesday night with Southwest Food Service Excellence (SFE) to provide food service to the district. BISD approved a 4.5 year contract with SFE that is renewable annually.
All locations of the Abilene Public Library will close early, at 4 p.m., on Wednesday, December 18, so library employees may attend a Memorial Celebration of the life of Ricki Brown, the late City Librarian of more than 15 years.
