carlee3.jpgCarlee was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. When she was young she always wanted to be a performer, she danced in national competitions, on cruise ships and at Disneyworld. She had an appetite for knowledge and was never afraid to ask why. When Carlee was a junior in high school Hurricane Katrina struck her hometown of New Orleans, her and her family lost their houses, schools, and their whole city. This experience and the insight of her High school English teacher, Mrs. Bell, helped her to find her passion in weather. It was her own curiosity and the endless support and encouragement of her parents, family, and friends that gave her the courage to leave home to pursue her career. Carlee graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor?s Degree in Geosciences with an emphasis in Meteorology. Since then she has moved to Abilene to pursue her career in weather.
