11-year-old, One Other Killed in Jones Co. Crash

JONES COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - A driver and child passenger were killed after they were ejected during a crash in Jones County Tuesday afternoon.

John Henry Williams, 66, and Charsie June Williams, 11, both of Lueders, were pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash on FM 600 near CR 337 east of Anson just before 4:00 p.m., according to a press release from the Texas Department of Public Safety. 

A 15-year-old boy survived the crash. 

DPS investigators have determined Mr. Williams was traveling down FM 600 when he veered off the road while negotiating a curve then overcorrected, causing the vehicle to skid then overturn.

All three occupants were ejected. The press release says none of the occupants were wearing seatbelts. 

The 15-year-old was transported to the hospital in stable condition, according to the press release.
