Black Friday deals started early, with people shopping as early as Thanksgiving evening for the deals. Many people made a second trip early Friday morning to keep shopping. For one Brown County woman that's exactly what she did.

Karen Baker has been a volunteer for the Toys of Kids Drive in Brownwood for 11 years and takes advantage of the Black Friday sales to buy toys. Families in Brown County are able to register their family if they need help buying toys this Christmas. By registering this lets the volunteers know how many children, age, and gender so they can buy the proper gifts. They are expecting more this year.

Baker enjoys buying for 3-year-old children and younger because they are the easiest. The most difficult age group to buy for is teen boys.
