One Year Later: Remembering victim of Panhandle fire from Breckenridge

TEXAS (KTAB/KRBC) - Tonight, KTAB and KRBC will remember the life of Sloan Everett, who died in the Panhandle fire last year.

On March 6, 2017, Cody Crockett and Sydney Wallace, a young couple in their early 20s, lost their lives while trying to save cattle in Gray County. Their friend, Sloan Everett, 35, was killed as well.

Everett was from Breckenridge and active in his community. He was a business owner and member of many boards and councils. KTAB spoke with many of his friends after his death, click here to hear what they told KTAB News.
