Students, friends, and faculty of Hardin-Simmons University gathered at Shelton Stadium Sunday evening to remember Taylor Huff.

The attendees lit candles to remember the former wide receiver. The entire football team was there. The last game they played was dedicated to Huff.

His family wasn't in attendance tonight. Friends signed books, filling the pages with memories of Huff. These books will be given to his family.

Organizers played Huff's favorite gospel songs and read bible verses. Everyone said they will remember Huff both on and off the field for his personality and leadership qualities.
