According to the Cisco Development Corporation, Cisco is pleased to announce that the final agreements have been signed that grant approval for a band new, state of the art, Flying J Travel Center and Truck Stop.

The truck stop will be located on approximately 10 acres of land on the southwest corner of 1-20 and Highway 206.

Right across the Interstate, there will also be a Stripes.

One of the contingencies for Stripes to move to Cisco was dependent upon the voters approval for alcohol a few months back.

KRBC's Dayne Marae spoke to business owners in Cisco and they all seemed to be very pleased, as they feel the new establishments will attract more business for the locals.

Cisco also feels this will bring a positive social impact as well as economic.

The new businesses will also provide approximately 65 new jobs to the community.

According to the Cisco Development Corporation, they will begin breaking ground in early 2014.
