The Baker Hotel is the tallest building in downtown Colorado City.

It was once a destination spot for tourists, now, it's just an eyesore for locals.

It was shut down in the 1970's, but a group of city employees hope someone will renovate it.

We're told a dozen investors have already come to scope the area and it could be in anticipation to the Cline Shale Oil Boom which includes Colorado City.

The city acquired the hotel after the owners sold it, but they don't have the funds to renovate it.
