Abilene police are looking for information that helps them arrest and charge suspects in a recent robbery case.

It started out as shoplifting but changed when the suspects fought with store employees who were trying to stop them. APD has surveillance video from a north Abilene department store where the incident occurred. It happened shortly after 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 10th.

"Someone who knows these folks should be able to recognize them," says Gary Heslep of the Abilene Police Department. "There is some clothing and mannerisms that hopefully someone will notice."

The surveillance video shows the man leaving the store first and went outside and waited to pick up the woman. Store employees contacted her when she walked out to get into a silver sport utility vehicle. The woman and man then got into a brief physical struggle with the employees before driving away. The physical altercation changed the misdemeanor theft charge to a robbery.
