Crosby County Crash Kills Stamford Man, Injures Others

CROSBY COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - One Big Country man is dead and several others from the Big Country are injured after a one-vehicle crash in Crosby County.
 
According to the Department of Pubic Safety, crews responded to a one-vehicle crash at 6:00 am on State Road 207 near County Road 230.
 
DPS confirms 41-year-old Christopher Lee Elias, 41, of Stamford, was driving a pickup truck north on State Road 207 when he lost control and overcorrected, rolling the vehicle several times. 
 
Three passengers, John Chambers, 35, of Abilene; Jeffery Scott London, 41, of Stamford; and Jerrad Chambers, 34, of Stamford; were all ejected from the vehicle and transported to University Medical Center in Lubbock with unknown injuries.
 
Christopher Lee Elias was pronounced deceased at the scene.
 
The crash remains under investigation
