DPS Arrests 45 During Operation in Abilene and Other Texas Cities

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - Forty-five suspects were arrested in Abilene and other cities across Texas over the past two weeks during a multi-agency operation led by the Texas Department of Public Safety. 

A press release from DPS says the operation, which concluded on March 30th, was "focused on the apprehension of wanted fugitives and vehicle theft in the Lubbock region."

Several agencies assisted DPS during this operation and in addition to the arrests, officials were able to seize "five weapons, a goose-neck trailer, two vehicles, one motorcycle, 14 grams of methamphetamine and two grams of cocaine," according to the press release.

The identities of the forty-five individuals arrested have not been released.
