Brendan lived at Hendrick Home Ranch from 2005 when he was a sophomore in high school, until he graduated from Albany High School. He lived with a house family, the Westfalls, during that time. Boyd went on to graduate from Hardin Simmons University where he ran track and played football.
Nina Westfall, Brendan's house mother, explained that Brendan always kept in contact with them, especially around the holidays. She did not hear from him at Thanksgiving and thought it was strange, but just figured that he was busy.
She began to worry when she could not reach him by Christmastime, and then saw that he had been reported missing on December 29th.
Brent Brazell has been friends with Brendan for eleven years. They met when they were in junior high at a church group and remained close friends. Brazell explained that Brendan would never just disappear without telling anyone, which is what concerns him so much.
Those close to him describe him as outgoing, always fun to be around, and intelligent.
Authorities ask that anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of Brendan Boyd to contact the College Station Police Department at 979-764-3600. He is 5' 10'", 160 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. He is possibly driving a charcoal gray 2007 Ford Mustang with a Texas A&M sticker on the rear of the vehicle. The license plate reads BCB3466.
