Former President George W. Bush Undergoes Emergency Heart Surgery

Former United States President George W. Bush is recovering from emergency heart surgery that took place early Tuesday morning.

A routine check-up in Dallas found a blockage in an artery in Bush's heart and performed surgery.

Doctors inserted a stent push the blockage aside, and left behind a mesh tube to keep the artery clear.

Mr. Bush has always been known for being very active, enjoying activities like running, swimming and hard labor on his ranch.
