An organization started in the name of a young boy who passed away at age six held their annual triathlon to remember his life. The Joseph Thomas Foundation was started by the parents of young Joseph. Almost seven years after this passing, they continue to celebrate his bravery, strength and memory.

Though he struggled with many disabilities, he still had a positive attitude on life that has inspired many. Dozens came out to celebrate Thomas by participating in some his favorite activities.

The Joseph Thomas Foundation helps families with resources and attention needed for those struggling with a family member who is medically fragile. For more information on the organization, visit
