Going Green: Do's and Don'ts When It Comes To Bird Feeders

During the winter, birds usually fly south, so now is a good time to get out your bird feeders. Experts recommend placing the feeders in a natural habitat with trees and shrubs if possible. The landscape will attract the birds more than the food. Fruits and vegetables work just as well as birdseed. Joe Welsh from Home Depot says bird feeding is quite common in West Texas. Seeds always works well too.
