Good Samaritan Reunites Aaron Watson with Stolen Guitar

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - Aaron Watson, a country music star who calls Taylor County home, has been reunited with a custom-made guitar that was stolen while he was on tour earlier this month.

Last week, Watson posted to his social media accounts and asked the public for help finding the beloved guitar which features crosses, bible verses, and Watson's logo.

This Tuesday, Watson posted the following update stating his guitar was back in his possession thanks to the kindness of a Good Samaritan:

Watson is an independent artist who broke records when his album Underdog debuted as number one on the charts in 2015, making him the first independent male country music artist to secure the number one spot.

When Watson isn't recording music, he's likely spending time in the Big Country at his ranch in Taylor County south of Abilene or touring some of his favorite local haunts.

In fact, the album cover for Watson's newest album, Vaquero, was shot in front of a mural in Coleman, Texas, painted by local artist Cal Johnson.
