Hendrick Medical Center currently has some new radio ads running. They are reminding people that the hospital is still serving patients with Blue Cross Blue Shield.

This is after the medical center recently went out of network with the insurance company since the two could not reach an agreement on reimbursement rates.

Hendrick Medical Center shared why they decided to start running the ads.

"It's important to us because there was some confusion, just to get the message out in radio and newspaper ads that, if you are Blue Cross Blue Shield member, you still have access to in-network emergency services at Hendrick," says Chief Nursing Officer Susie Cassle.
