"On my 12th Christmas, Santa Clause brought me my first guitar and I've been hooked ever since," says Jonnie Mississippi, a homeless man who has been bringing music to Abilene's streets.

Jonnie has made quite the name for himself in Abilene. You can find him tapping his feet, bobbing his head and cheerfully singing along to his guitar. Fans say he can take any request and nail it.

Businesses say their customers love him. Many times they have seen cars full of people pull up and get out to sing along with him. Jonnie says that is his favorite part; the fans. He says seeing people get into his music and sing along, "It don't get no better than that."

People stuck at the stop light say they roll down their windows and shut their car music. They say he just easily puts a smile on your face.
