Horse Riding Helps Local Teen With Cerebral Palsy

Kaci Houghton had a stroke at birth, weakening the left side of her body. Her strength and love for horses has helped her cope with the struggles of her disability.

This 16-year-old says horse riding has become her therapy.  

She gets lessons once a week at Ren's Rides and says it is the highlight of her week. She says riding is the best stress-relieving treatment. It has also enhanced her muscular strength in places that are weaker than others.
