Two brothers from Brownwood started an event called Hot Rods for Heroes to help recognize the service of military members.

The car show was started by Jacon and Quenton Sprowls. The event brought out slick and cool rides to Brownwood on Saturday. All the money raised at the event will go towards the Wounded Warrior Project, which supports men and women who come back from war.

The brothers say they are pleased with the turnout and plans to do it again next year.

KTAB's Kimberly Sears has the story.
