Hundreds of people gathered in downtown at around 10 a.m. to cheer and wave at the parade. The parade celebrates Coleman's rodeo, which is the single largest event in the city each year.
The event draws thousands of people to the area from all over the world. Many say the parade and rodeo have become a family tradition.
"I've been coming here since I was a little girl and we always try to come for the parade and the rodeo," says resident Julie Kruse. "It's just something that really hasn't changed in all these years."
