Indicted: Man Accused of Masturbating While Watching Teen in Abilene Parking Lot

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - A man accused of masturbating while looking at an underage girl in the parking lot of an Abilene drugstore has been indicted.

A Taylor County Grand Jury indicted Michael Arredondo, 24, on and Indecency with a Child charge in connection to an incident that happened in June of 2016.

Court documents say that a woman left her 13-year-old daughter inside the car while she went inside a drugstore on the north side of town and when she came out, the daughter told her the man inside the car parked next to them had been staring at her.

The mother then looked over, saw the window rolled down, and observed the man masturbating, according to the documents, which say the mother then told her daughter to take a picture or the video of the man while she called police.

The documents also state, "the man smiled at them and gave a 'thumbs up' as he drove away."

A description of the vehicle allowed investigators to identify Arredondo as the suspect in this incident, and the court documents say "additionally, on June 25th, police took a report of a man masturbating in the parking lot" of two other Abilene drug stores, and the vehicle in these incidents matched the description of Arredondo's vehicle.
