Firefighters from Eastland, Carbon and Cisco were called out to a major house fire in Cisco Wednesday afternoon.

The house, which has been abandoned for about ten years, burned completely within a short period of time, though firefighters were able to keep it from spreading beyond the property.

The fence around the house received some damage, along with several abandoned cars around the property.

The wind, which was blowing around 25 to 35 mph, is considered a factor in the fire, though no cause has been determined.
