Abilene Schools Honor Veterans Day

People of all ages showed their support for the Veterans throughout the community today.

Dyess Elementary School fifth graders honored Veterans by waving their flags and singing American-pride songs to Veterans at the Royal Estates of Abilene.

Wylie Elementary School had their entire second grade class honor Veterans by telling stories of their work and singing flag songs.

Active-Duty Military members and Veterans were honored at Cooper High School at their annual flag pole ceremony this afternoon.
