The bond would replace three schools, fund technological and security upgrades and renovations district-wide
Educators say it's necessary due to conditions of some of the old buildings. Teachers at Woodson Early Childhood Learning Center say they do the best with what they have, but a new building - which they would get if the bond is approved - would make the educational environment even better.
The school board says that two schools being replaced, Bonham and Johnston, were renovated with previous bond money. Those will still be replaced, and items like air conditioning units will be salvaged and used in new buildings.
