Terry Minami was active in the community and worked as a library administrative assistant at Hardin-Simmons University for the past eighteen years.

Members of the HSU community are saddened by the loss of Terry. Minami lost her battle with pancreatic cancer on Saturday, November 9th, just after midnight. She was in hospice care in her hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin when she passed.

Terry was known as an optimist and had the ability to make many laugh and smile. Many colleagues and students spoke of her encouragement and funny stories.

She loved the cold weather and was always glad to say, "Let it snow!". Minami was also well known for her origami talent.

Funeral services for Terry are pending. She is survived by her mother, brother, and two adult children. There is a memorial scholarship set up in her name at Hardin-Simmons.
