Updates include a fully- integrated data link, a vertical situation display upgrade and a central integrated system upgrade.

This is the largest B-1 modification in program history and it will allow the aircraft to work more effectively with other joint and coalition forces.

The program is expected to continue through 2019 and is estimated to cost $983 million.
