After a two year turn-around in Anson head football coach Keith Woolf is leaving for Bastrop Cedar Creek.

Prior to Woolf's arrival in Anson the Tigers were 0-10 in 2012. That changed in Woolf's first year at the helm in Anson with the Tigers going 10-2.

This past season the Tigers got off to a similar start with a 9-0 record heading into their match-up with Stamford. For the second straight year the Tigers would fall to the Bulldogs in the final week of the regular season.

Woolf would also lead Anson to two straight bi-district wins before being knocked out by Stratford both years.

Now Woolf will take over another program in need of a change, Bastrop Cedar Creek. A Class 4A program that is coming off their second straight one win season.

According to Anson Superintendent Jay Baccus the search for coach Woolf's replacement is already underway and they will accept applications until January 31st.

The school hopes to have a replacement hired by the third week of February.
