Brandon Green, the man accused of shooting another man multiple times early in the morning of March 23 at the Abilene IHOP, has been transferred to Taylor County jail.

Green was indicted last week by a Taylor County grand jury on the charge of aggravated assault, but was not transferred to Taylor County until Tuesday, June 24. Green was arrested in late March in Tarrant County, but was held on assault family violence charges there and could not be transferred to Taylor County until the case was handled.

According to the shooting victim's girlfriend, the IHOP assault occurred following an altercation at an Abilene night club earlier that night before Green and the victim ran into each other again at the restaurant. Green allegedly shot the victim as he and his girlfriend were about to exit.

The victim was transported to Hendrick were he was treated for his injuries and later recovered.

No trial date has yet been set.
