A Photo has been released of suspected Fort Hood shooter Ivan Lopez who allegedly killed three people and wounded 16 others.

Lopez took his own life with the same handgun he had been using to shoot fellow soldiers after being confronted by a female military police officer in a parking lot.

Investigators are now leaning toward the idea that Lopez's actions may have been the result of a mental illness and a possible altercation that had recently happened between himself and another soldier may have been the event that triggered the shootings. However, this is still all under investigation.
