Brownwood is getting into the western spirit in honor of an annual event.

It's Western Week. Brownwood businesses decorate their storefronts and offices to show support for the Brown County Rodeo. The tradition was lost for awhile but last year, but the community started it up again.

While the decorations are fun to look at, it's also part of a competition. Those with the best decor earn a spot on the radio and a mention of their business at the rodeo. Brownwood City Hall, The V.A. Outpatient Clinic and Hamilton's won the contest.

The rodeo is this weekend at the Brown Q. Wilson Rodeo Arena.
