Brownwood Approves Police, Firefighter Pay Raises

The Brownwood City Council has approved pay raises for the city's police officers and firefighters.

Effective October 1, police officers and firefighters will receive a base salary increase of 6 percent, as well as a $25 per month increase for all certification levels.
