A Fort Worth couple has decided to leave their jobs as teachers and open up two coffee shops in the Big Country.

Waverly's coffee shop is their first step toward "Project Fill The Gap", a non-profit organization they've spearheaded with others in the city to revamp the downtown area.

They hope to fill every abandoned building with a local business and compete with other popular downtown's like Fredericksburg.
