Frontier Fourth Buffalo Gap

Friday marked Buffalo Gap's 10th anniversary of their Fourth of July party, Frontier Fourth. The day started with a parade and a reading of the Declaration of Independence. Next they rang the Liberty Bell for each one of the 50 states.

Following the ceremony was over people enjoyed games, such as sack racing , horseshoes and roping. They also enjoyed  watermelon and lemonade.

The event is important to the community according to Heather Reed, the site manager for The Buffalo Gap Historic Village, because, "It brings the community together and promotes a lesson in history presented in a fun manner."

The event was put on by the Buffalo Gap Historic Village with local sponsors including the Cult of Jeep, Jeep Club.
