The annual Operation Blue Jeans project to help school children and their families has begun at the Christian Service Center. The Center will give children school clothes including socks, underwear, and a new pair of jeans.

The agency also gives school supplies to school counselors so they can be distributed to students who need them. The organization this year is giving polo shirts to middle school students to comply with Abilene ISD's new dress code.

Parents who need help can call 325-673-7531 to make an appointment to register with the Christian Service Center. They will be giving away these items while supplies last until the start of school in August.
