Many around the nation and the Big Country are donating items to ship out to tornado victims in Moore, OK, but how do you know it's going to the right place?

Relief workers at Global Samaritan Resources in Abilene suggest making sure you know the organization or company that you're donating to.

You should also make sure they have a good reputation and experience in helping in disaster areas.

One Abilene woman is making sure the items she's collecting go end up in the right hands.

She's partnered with Con-Way Freight who have donated a truck to send to Moore with all of the collected items.

The donation drive will take place Sat., May 25 at United Supermarkets on S. 14th St. in Abilene.

Volunteers will be collecting items from 7 a.m.- 6 p.m.
