3 Abilene men arrested for having large amounts of marijuana around child

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - Three Abilene men found with large quantities of high-level THC marijuana and edible marijuana around a young child have been arrested. 

Hunter Yarbrough, 19, Austin Baker, 18, and Keith Rader, 18, were all taken into custody after police were called to check on the welfare of the child inside a south Abilene apartment Thursday night around 7:00 p.m.

When officers arrived on scene they noticed a strong odor of marijuana, according to a press release, which states that, "the Special Operations Division was called out and after a subsequent investigation, agents discovered 7.5 oz. of high level THC marijuana and one pound of edible marijuana."

All three suspects were booked into the Taylor County Jail and charged with State Jail Felony Possession of Marijuana. They' were each released after posting a $5,000 bond. 

The press release states, "the child was removed from the home and left with a different family member."
