3 arrested, child removed from home during Coleman drug bust

COLEMAN, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - Three people were arrested and a child was take into CPS custody after a drug bust at a Coleman home last week.

Bobby Carl Dye, 41, Zachary Blade Dye, 20, and Taylor Roxanne New, 32, were all taken into custody and charged with Possession of Marijuana following the bust a a home on the 1100 block of S. Concho Street on July 20, 2017. New is also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. 

A press release from the Coleman Police Department says the trio was arrested after several items were seized from the home during the search, including marijuana, drug paraphernalia, scales, packaging materials, prescription narcotics, and dangerous drugs. 

A child was removed from the home by Child Protective Services and placed into a family member's custody, according to the press release. 

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Warden, Santa Anna Police Department, the Coleman Fire Department, and the Heart of Texas EMS all provided assistance during the search.
