3 Overnight Robbery Incidents Reported in Abilene

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - Two convenience stores and one person reported they were targeted by robbers in Abilene overnight on Wednesday. 

Reports filed with the Abilene Police Department say the robbery incidents happened at the following locations:

  • 5100 block of S. 7th Street - Around 2:45 a.m. Thursday, an unknown suspect entered a 7-Eleven, brandished a firearm, demanded money, then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was caught on surveillance video.
  • 6200 block of S. 7th Street - Just before 2:30 a.m. Thursday, an unknown suspect entered a 7-Eleven, demanded money, then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
  • 1400 block of E. Overland Trail - A woman told police she was assaulted during a robbery attempt while she was walking near the Murphy's gas station near 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.
