6th suspect arrested during FBI-assisted meth bust in Abilene

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - A sixth suspect was arrested during an FBI-assisted methamphetamine bust in Abilene Thursday. 

The following six suspects, accused of selling four-to-seven pounds of meth a day, are being held in the Taylor County Jail without bond on Federal charges related to the bust:

  • Michael Huettl, 47
  • Delores Rodriguez, 25
  • Jamaal Dunson, 32
  • Driessan Russell, 37
  • Joe Spafford, 27
  • Trystan Napper, 32

The Taylor County Sheriff's Office confirms two Abilene homes, one on the 100 block of Peach Blossom Drive and one on the 800 block of Mesquite Street, were raided after a 4-month long investigation into the manufacturing of meth in Abilene. 

A media representative with the Federal Bureau of Investigations told KTAB and KRBC they had personnel at the scene of these raids and assisted with taking the suspects into custody. 

Several firearms, $30,000 in cash, and approximately 5 pounds of methamphetamine were seized during the raids, according to the Sheriff's Office.
