5 suspects arrested during Abilene drug bust, multiple drugs seized

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - Five suspects were arrested during an Abilene drug bust that led to the seizure of crack/cocaine, heroin,  prescription medication, marijuana, and nearly $5,000 in cash.

The drug bust targeted a home on the 700 block of Carver Street  where a search warrant was executed on September 14, 2017. The following five suspects were arrested on the following charges as a result of the investigation:

  • Camille Yvonne Simon - Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance to Wit: Cocaine in a Drug Free Zone, Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance to Wit: Heroin in a Drug Free Zone, and Possession of Marijuana.
  • Michelle Torres - Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance to Wit: Cocaine in a Drug Free Zone, Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance to Wit: Heroin in a Drug Free Zone, and Possession of Marijuana.
  • Joseph Ocon - Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance to Wit: Cocaine in a Drug Free Zone, Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance to Wit: Heroin in a Drug Free Zone.
  • Makeysha Isaac - Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance to Wit: Cocaine in a Drug Free Zone, Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance to Wit: Heroin in a Drug Free Zone, and Possession of Marijuana.
  • David Lewis - Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance to Wit: Cocaine in a Drug Free Zone, Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance to Wit: Heroin in a Drug Free Zone, and Possession of Marijuana.

A press release from the Abilene Police Department states, "In all, 36 grams of crack cocaine, 2.62 grams of heroin, hydrocodone, promethazine/codeine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia and $4,906 in cash were seized."
