7-Year-Old Lying in Bed Shot Twice in San Antonio Drive-by Shooting

SAN ANTONIO, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - A 7-year-old boy is recovering after he was shot twice while lying in bed during a drive-by shooting in San Antonio Monday morning. 

A shooter opened fire with an assault rifle while driving through a neighborhood on the east side of the City just before 7:00 a.m., according to a report from WOAI

The WOAI report says the boy, the only causality of the shooting, was grazed in the arm by two bullets. His injuries are non-life threatening. 

KENS reports at least 16 shots were fired, and a neighboring house was hit. WOAI says several cars were shot as well.
