Suspect arrested for Capital Murder after Abilene man killed in Wichita Falls

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - A suspect accused of shooting and killing an Abilene man in Wichita Falls overnight has been arrested.

Eric Glenn Lee II, 22, was taken into custody Tuesday on a Capital Murder warrant 12 hours after Matthew Liggins, 28, was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds inside a vehicle after reports of a burglary in progress on the 1000 block of Juarez Street in Wichita Falls. 

The Wichita Falls Times Record News reports, "a witness on scene told officers the suspect, later identified as Lee, got into the backseat of the Patriot and shot Liggins, [police] said. Liggins was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries."
