Abilene Police Arrest Four on Fraud and/or Drug Charges

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - Multiple suspects were taken into custody on either drug and/or fraud charges after members of the Abilene Police Department executed search warrants on Wednesday.

A press release from the Abilene Police Department says the search warrants were executed at three homes around town, resulting in the arrest of the following four individuals:

  • Clifford Cook, 40 - State Jail Felony Possession of Controlled Substance Methamphetamine and Probation Violation Warrants
  • Jory John Mann, 42 - State Jail Felony Possession of Controlled Substance Methamphetamine
  • Roy Allen Chapman, 38 - 3rd Degree Felony Fraudulent Possession of Identifying Information, State Jail Felony Possession of Controlled Substance Methamphetamine, and Class A Misdemeanor Possession of a Dangerous Drug. 
  • Laken Michelle Fields, 30 -  3rd Degree Felony Fraudulent Possession of Identifying Information, 3rd Degree Felony Evading Arrest in a Vehicle and 3rd Degree Felony Tampering with Evidence. A Forgery case is also pending against Fields.
