Abilene Woman Reunites Lubbock Man With Class Ring Lost 12 Years Ago

LUBBOCK, Texas (KLBK/KAMC) - Something seemingly small can have a large sentimental value to someone.

That was the case for one Lubbock man when he says he lost his high school class ring.

It wasn't until recently he got news he didn't think would ever come.

The ring went missing twelve years ago -- during a move.

He recently got an unlikely Facebook message from a woman in Abilene who says she found it hanging on a set of deer antlers.

The woman says her friend found it ten years ago but couldn't track down the owner.

David Manuel Arrellano says graduating high school was one of the best days of his life --  he got his diploma from Lubbock High in 2004, and a specialized class ring to remember the day.

Unfortunately, twelve years ago the special ring went missing during a move. After several years passed he began to give up hope until recently he got a very unlikely Facebook message from a woman in Abilene who had found the ring.

She said she saw it hanging on the antlers at a friend's home.
