Another Abilene Convenience Store Robbed

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - A south Abilene convenience store was robbed early Thursday morning, continuing a recent rash of robberies.

In this robbery, an unknown suspect entered an Allsup's on the 2500 block of S. Clack Street just before 3:00 a.m., demanded cash, and pretended like he had a weapon, according to a report filed with the Abilene Police Police Department, which says the clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of cash before the suspect fled.

This one was day after a robbery at the 7-Eleven on the 3400 block of Ambler Avenue. Police reports say a firearm was used in this incident.

Police reports also state that last week, a knife was used in a gas station robbery early Thursday morning, and two gas stations were robbed of cash and cigarettes Wednesday morning

It's currently unknown if any of these robbery incidents are related.
