June 30th - July 1st

Clyde Festival at the Lake (Clyde Lake) -  Live bands, fireworks,carnival rides, food/merchandise vendors, and more!

July 1st

Roscoe 4th of July Celebration (Downtown Roscoe) - Parade begins at 10:00 a.m. with several prizes to be awarded. Mud Bog benefiting the Roscoe Little League is also taking place at George Parks Baseball Field. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. $30 to drive, $5 to watch for adults, $3 to watch for kids ages 11-to-16. Fireworks show will began around 9:30pm in downtown Roscoe on the bricks and last about an hour. 

Baird Fireworks Show (Baird City Park) - Bring a picnic, chairs, etc. The pool will be open from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Fireworks show will end the evening.

Old Glory Days and Who Burnt the Beans BBQ Cookoff (Novice) - Parade starts at 5:00 p.m., fireworks at dark! Awards, tournaments, and more. Event taking place from noon to 9:00 p.m.  Call (325)518-5401 for more information. 

Wild Duck Marina 6th Annual Fireworks Bash - Boat parade taking place at the dam Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Rare Dog will go on stage at 8:00 p.m. to open for Callahan Divide who will go on stage about 10:30 p.m. Fireworks will start at dark thirty! ­čśť admission to concerts & fireworks show will be $20.00 per person. No coolers allowed. You can purchase adult beverages in the store at marina.

July 4th

Frontier Fourth (Buffalo Gap) - Frontier Fourth, sponsored by Lawrence Hall, is a family fun event! A community parade kicks off the day, followed by a ceremony at the Taylor County History Center/Buffalo Gap Historic Village. After the ceremony, join us for games, crafts, music, historical re-enactors, and much more! Event taking place from 8:00 a.m. to noon. 

Car Show and Fireworks (Tuscola) - City of Tuscola is hosting the event. Car show begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by fireworks. Both events will be held at the Tuscola City Park at 1242 Turner Street in Tuscola. Vendors, food, games, raffles, music, and more will also be available. 

July 4th Patriotic Band Concert (Episcopal Church of the Heavenly Rest in Abilene) - One hour concert performed by the Abilene Community Band. Bring blankets/chairs and a picnic if you want! Fun begins outside the church on the east lawn beginning at 7:00 p.m. 

4th of July Celebration (Cisco Chamber of Commerce) - Come join the Cisco Chamber of Commerce to celebrate this Independence Day as a community. Food, drinks, vendors, live music, raffles, contest, and all kinds of fun! The night will, as always, end with a miraculous BANG with the annual fireworks display.

Rip-Roaring Old Fashioned 4th of July (Main Street in Eastland) - Free hot dogs, water, and jump houses. Fun begins with a parade at 10:00 a.m. Everyone is invited to participate in the parade free-of-charge and there will be winners from best float to best costume. Booths, music, vendors, and more will also be available. Homemade ice-cream and pie contests. Fireworks display will be at Lake Leon. Info listed below. La Mancha Lake Ranch Fireworks Show (Lake Leon) - Show begins at dusk, no fireworks allowed in park, including sparklers! Located at 402 CR 567 in Eastland.
