Brown County Dog Possibly Exposed to Rabies

BROWN COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - A Brown County woman has been ordered to quarantine her dogs for over a month because they may have been exposed to rabies.

A report from the Brown County Sheriff's Office says the Zoonosis Office in Arlington informed Brown County officials about the possible expose on March 9, 2017. The expose happened at Hwy 67/377 E.

The dog's owner was contacted, and "she was advised she would need to quarantine her dogs for 45 days with ending date on April 19, 2017", according to the report.
